rosh hashana was good but given that today is a work day we decided last night to catch a movie with some friends of ours.. the title of the movie had been thrown around for a bit but we found out last minute that it wasnt screening at our regular cinema.. shame.. so we went to a smaller boutique arthouse cinema known for off beat films to see it.. the hall was packed.. we had to sit in the second row.. luckily the rows were comfy and the screen wasnt in our faces..
the message of this film must be spread further.. the war between us and our neighbours needs to be deglorified..
the film draws unbreakable links between the suffering of the palestinians and the pseudo-holocaust imagery.. its a very hard argument to call it an exageration.. very hard argument..
i strongly recommend this film.. and i also recommend that all parties to this conflict check themselves and allow themselves to question and interrogate their sacred cows..
without such examination we will never know our past.. read bashir's wikiography..
