Well, it is 3:15 a.m. and my ability to remain awake enough to liveblog the elections has been seriously compromised by need for sleep 
While the exit polls were crowing things like Livni wins it by 12% points it is now, at this wee hour of the morning, looking like Livni won it by a mere 500 votes. What did I say about the reliability of exit polls, eh? Yow.
I’m heading to bed now but will not be at all surprised to wake up tomorrow and find things reversed. I hope not. But if it is only a win by 500 votes and it is less than 40% percent of the overall votes, then we will do this all again in a run-off race between Livni and Mofaz alone in like a really short time.
We’ll see what tomorrow brings.
