| Copywriting Final Project Printed |
OOOOOOkk! That took too long and consumed a lot of my time and energy. But this afternoon I’ve finally picked up the stuff from the print shop. My 3 billboard ads (70cm x 30cm) and my 3 Stickers (35cm x 15cm). I’ve dedicated some thought to weather I should or shouldn’t post small copies of the works here on the blog. I’ve decided against, as they can easily be misused or even worse - misunderstood and generate hateful comments.
But I’m so relieved the hard work is over! I’ve spent the past week driving almost everyday between Ashkelon (whereI live and where the print shop is) and Petah Tikva (where the computer I work on is at). I’ve spent every night the past days trying to fix stuff. A trained artist would have probably finished this in a couple of days, but being a programmer/copywriter with a very limited knowledge in Photoshop, I probably chose the hardest way to do any of the things. Still, it’s almost all behind me now. I’ll put the signs at ACC on Sunday and that’s it. The exhibition will be on the 3rd of May (Monday), from around 18:00 till 20:00, at the Betzefer, “mezizim” beach, Tel Aviv harbour. You’re all invited!
This is also the place to thank Ian, a talented artist, a friend and, well, a white guy, who took the trouble to get me a picture of himself posing in fear for my “Hunting Season Open” Ad. Seems the Canadian guys aren’t that bad! You hear that, CB?
(of course, there is also Dan, but he’s a quarter Israeli so it doesn’t count…)
