Terror Attack in Haifa

I was busy checking the leaked source code of Half Life 2 when my mom called me up. A terror attack happened at Maxim Restaurant in Haifa. Apparently a female terrorist managed to get into the middle of the busy restaurant and explode. The responsible for the attack is the Islamic Jihad.

So far 19 dead (children included) and more then 60 wounded.
Among dead at least 5 are children below age of 5 and 1 of them is a baby 2 months old.
Among wounded around 10 are kids, 3 of them in critical condition.

The restaurant is in a joint arab-jewish ownership, and the dead/wounded expected to be both Arabs and Jews as well. The explosion destroyed most of the restaurant.

Abu Alla (Ahmed Qorei), the Palestinian prime minister-designee, condemned the attack, but as everyone in Israel knows, this worth absolutely nothing. The PA had been doing absolutely nothing to stop terror attacks, even the ones they know of in advance. Not to mention that Arafat’s own movement (Fatah, and it’s Fatach-Tanzim) are taking active part in planning and executing terror attacks (guess who funds it? Right, the PA!)

CNN reports that “Qorei also called on the Israeli government to end the suffering of the Palestinian people by stopping its policies of land confiscation and targeting of Palestinian activists and leaders.”

“Activists” my ass. Terrorists.
The Ohayon Kids Sirhan killed in Kibbutz Mezer It is just been allowed to be published that a little earlier this afternoon, Israeli army found and killed Sirhan Sirhan, the terrorist responsible for the kibbutz Mezer attack exactly a year ago. He penetrated a house, shot 2 young kids (age 4 and 5) in their beds and their mother, then went out and shot 2 others and escaped. A SWAT team found him in Tul Karem, along with 2 other terrorists. A gun fight erupted where he was shot and killed. (Ynet (Hebrew))

I don’t think the government will decide on any radical steps. Almost everything that can be done is being done already. I do not see any deportation of Arafat either, since the Shabak (Internal intelligence agency), the Army intelligence arm and the chief-of-command all advice against it. Since the army already tracks down senior terrorists I don’t think there could be any more serious steps taken. Probably we’ll declare we’re going to hunt down the Islamic Jihad seniors as well as the Hammas ones.

However, some politicians from the right are loudly stating it is the time to deport Arafat. Will probably make lots of noise but will result in nothing. I’ll spare you my own opinion about this here, as I’ve already stated my opinion on deporting Arafat.

Saeb Erekat is getting on my nerves: “The chief Palestinian negotiator, Saeb Erekat, said he appealed to international mediators to ensure that Israel does not retaliate. “We don’t want Israel to add fuel to the fire,” he said.”
Sure, we’ll just let you kill us and do nothing. It’s all logical now. NOT.
With such idiotic statements from Palestinian leaders, why wonder these morons have failed to sign peace with us the countless numbers they had the chance to?

your blog is very remarkable. i wish you all the best, and support israel. when im watchin arafat saying he would like a peace, a very meaningful latin proverb cames on my mind : beware of those who want a peace. if so, prepare for a war".
