| France: No proof Hamas is a Terror Organiztion |
I couldn’t find any forgien news site that posted this, but it was posted 2 hours ago on Ynet, the site of the leading daily newspaper “Yediot Ahronot”. Apperantly, an israeli representative went to talk with the french president’s diplomatic advisor, Maurice Gourdault-Montagne, and was told that France thinks there are no prooves that the Hamas and Islamic Jihad are terror organizations, therefore will not act against money transfered to them. In addition, france sees Arafat as a legitimate leader and think Abu-Mazen government is “without base”.
I have abosolutly nothing more to say. The french are totaly lulu.

Also, apperantly the EU announcement that followed the Jerusalem attack, instead of Hamas or Islamic Jihad, the EU blamed “groups that out-lawed themselves”. Yea, nice to know it’s only about small little groups that have “owtlawed themselves”…

Ynet called the French embassy in Israel for a reaction and were told that the official stand of france is that the military arm of Hammas should be listed in the terror groups list, as the EU announcement few months ago stated.
Hmm.. Ok, so money could be given to the political arm which, of course, have absolutly no connection with it’s own military arm.
French logic.
Yhere is precedent, the Sinn Fein in the UK actually held seats in Parliament by claiming no connection with the IRA Provos.
Stupidity knows no national bounds.
