| Terror Attack in Jerusalem |
About 30 minutes ago, around 17:30, a suicide terrorist exploded himself inside a bus in Yaffo Street, one of the most crowded streets in the city. There are currently 13 dead and 70 wounded. Number of dead, of course, can rise.
The Hamas (which already took responsibility) announced it is revenge for the attempt to kill Rantisi, though keep in mind such an attack takes more then 2 days to plan and prepare - so this attack was probably organized well before that. To remind everyone, right after the Aqaba agreement there was a huge number of alerts of serious attacks trying to be executed by Hammas, Islamic Jihad and Fatah (of which atleast 3 ones caused 4 israeli dead and other wounded).
In addition, our radio reports also that a special attack by Israeli helicopters was done in the Azza strip, reports say 6 terrorists were killed, 2 of them (at least) identified as Hammas seniors.

Number of dead rised to 16, Number of wounded reports to be 100.
Israeli officials says that the terror attack is NOT connected to the attack on Rantisi, since the terrorist and the explosive vest was apperantly smuggled inside Jerusalem before the attempt yesterday. The terrorist was apperantly dressed as hassidic jew.
Renata heard the whole thing: “I heard everything. A huge strong dry BUM striked my ears and my heart. I was coming back to the center in another bus, the 21, in front of the Central Bus Station. Everyone got in a certain panic and the telephones began ringing almost instantanely. Radio on. Sirenes. Ambulances. Police. Streets closed. What a horrible sensation. Fear, anger and more: a wierd sensation of guilt for being alive when the death was so near us.”

all Israelis can relax. Mofaz promised for the millionth time "to intensify its fight against Hamas" and said that "there will not be a massive Defensive Shield like operation,but that the army will stick its worthless ineffective pin point attacks and arrests." The Israeli goverment continues its criminial activity and keeps sacrificing its own citizens. On the other hand it was elected by a large margin,then I guess the Israelis have no problems with "the situation". 16 more dead who cares.
By god if this happened on the hallowed ground of my home town there would not be one muslim left. The Israeli restraint is amazing.

Well, as I wrote just one post before this one, I thought the timing of the attempt was pretty idiotic.
Not that it has anything to do with the terror attack in Jerusalem. Such an attack takes days if not weeks to plan, prepare and execute. At the time the suicide terrorist blew himself in the bus there weren’t even full 24 hours.
