A Peek into a Mind

Absolutly beautiful weekend

It’s so sunny and fun outside!

I’ve came back from the army reserve at Wednesday evening, after a 4-5 hours drive from the north. I went to sleep right away and only woke up the next day at 11am or so. I slept for 14-15 hours straight, didn’t even wake up when my mom called me to eat. Oh well.

Thursday passed in a flash. I mostly ate, relaxed and took care of all the computer related stuff (had about 20 or so emails I had to answer immediately, after weeding them from the 296 junk-emails). I also borrowed Nir’s scanner and started scanning pictures I took in the Milueem:

Night Dinner in one of the outposts Stopping for coffee. I'm the one on the left. Our Hammers in the background. Together with friends
Shlush had the best picture I took. Was taken in Hirbat Bir'am.
I just liked this 'Kova Kelev' ('Dog's Hat') I wore it for whole days...

(Of course, there are more and in higher resolutions, but I’m not going to post anything here that could be used to extract military information…)

Anyway, I’m expecting a hard week coming up next, catching up everything I missed in university the past month. And I also have a deadline for the TV Show treatment submission on the middle of the month. Going to be tough.

But hey, today I’m going to enjoy the sun. I’ll start all the preparations in the evening. :)

BTW - Still no word from Salam… I hope it only means that internet connection of the Iraqi government ISP is down, nothing worse.

Glad to see you have made it back safe and sound. Enjoying the photos. You guys have Hummers? Do you have any comment about the British journalist that was killed yesterday/today in Gaza?

Wow… thanks. Good to be back! :)

Bette - I haven’t heard about the journalist, I haven’t hearded any news the past month or so and felt pretty good about it. This is one thing that I do not want to catch up on, though I’m sure I’ll be filled in the coming days. News is not something that you can manage avoid as an Israeli…

Thanks Allison, was a pleasure to protect your a–. ;)

Lian, Ho, I’ll phone you anyway the next few days.

fine that you are back safely :)

as for Salam - I’ve been wondering about his Jordanian friend, Raed, who has been posting on the blog from time to time as well. He couldn’t have been affected by the bombing, so why is there no sign of him either?
