A Peek into a Mind

Going back to Jerusalem

Can you spell HUZPA? I’ve got an exam coming up on Thursday so I won’t be on the net till it’s over. Anyway, I just wanted to leave some remarks, since in the past weekend I’ve been quoted on some blogs.

I am aware of all the recent Israeli activity in the territories. I’m also aware that some of the dead Palestinians were innocent civilians (though a much lower number then some would like you to think). From my experience in the army, soldiers and officers are very careful, but these things happen. It doesn’t mean I like them but they does. However, I have extreme difficulties to accept the Palestinian numbers of ‘civilians’ since the minute a terrorist that is shooting on IDF soldiers is being killed, someone takes his rifle and he’s suddenly a ‘civilian’. In addition, every time several terrorists are killed from a ‘work accident’ making explosives-belt or an explosive device, the Palestinians rush to the international media shouting “Israel did this!” (this exact thing happened on Thursday in Jabaliya, killing almost 11 Palestinians). So I’d be extremely sceptical about Palestinian figures. Killing of innocent people IS wrong and to be avoided as possible. Killing of militants and terrorist is to be Encouraged (yes, just like that senior Hammas member. And he was invloved in arranging terror attacks so spare me the ‘political figure’ argument).

Well, I’ll be off. The word is that the War is going to start sometime next week or so. I really hope it will be so and that they’ll get it done already, I’m tired of this ‘temporary’ state of life. You can’t make long term plans, you can’t tell what’s going to happen, so let them get this thing over with. Ho, and please, will someone give me a good reason for NOT attacking Iraq? I mean a GOOD REASON, not the bullshit those anarchists dreamers are spitting. And spare me the French position. Seems the wild theory I’ve brought here a few posts ago are turning more and more real.

Maybe the French should support more research in this direction: Stupidity should be cured, says DNA discoverer

well tbh there is no reason not going into iraq, however the reason bush has is idiotic…

all bush wants some sorta "revenge" cauz his dad fucked up in the last war and didnt take sadam down….
this terrorsim shit is a fkn excuse.. sposably its a "revenge" on september 11th (was it september? teh twins terror attack)
against terrorizem.. however iraq and sadam have nothing to do with the taliban…

yeh theres some issue with the oil crap and thats why germany and france and russia have some issues..but fuck that..

if bush really wants a war against terrorizem he should stop helping/assisting financialy the countries that hide these fkn terrorists… the countries that sell weapons to these fucks…

yeh, the americans also claim sadam will sell his weapons of mass distruction to terrorists..but if u get rid of all terrorists (which can be done )
he’ll have no one to sell to..

and why isnt u.s. doing anything against korea? (north i think) which is devoleping a NUKE!

This whole thing against iraq is bush wanting to bring sadam down cauz his daddy fucked up.
the americans have no solid evidence of anything like bio weapons or whatever they claim….
look at how they keep delaying this stupid "war"..
    load of crap imo…

there are still alot of other issues to talk about…
I just hope that this whole arab anti israel bullshit will end in the next 10 years

mhh…i think, that violence causes violence, and so on. best example seen in israel.

i’m not of the opinion, that war against iraq will provide peace or do anything against terrorism. the opposite will happen in long terms, and the growing extremists on both sides will prevail, and provide further reasons to each other, why more violence is necessary.

you have to break this circle!

    greetings-

good reason 1: when war begins,
thousands of iraqi soldiers will miserably die. for them it’s like fighting with a knife against someone with a machine gun. i find this disgusting.

good reason 2: also many civilians
    will die in "collateral damage"

good reason 3: 10 times more weapons of mass destruction have been destroyed by inspectors in the 90ties than during the first gulf war.

good reason 4: do you think, the
iraqi people, who will suffer from the war and still suffer from the sanctions, will be changing their mind to a israeli and american-friendly position?
they will go on with new hate
for generations. next war or terrorist attacks will follow, thats for sure.

    good reason 6:
if you assume, that your neighbour is a criminal, would you burglarize his house and beat him up or kill him and his wife? no, you would call the police. the police should be the U.N. international law should be further strenghtened and not weakened.

good reason 7: there is an iraqi opposition. why not finally support them and trust, that they will be able to remove saddam in an insurrection? serbia would be a good example for that.
