Finally Home!

Since past Tuesday I’ve been with my aunt at the hospital during all visiting hours (until 20:00 everyday). On the last Tuesday it started snowing in Jerusalem. And I mean REALLY snowing. Of course everything got closed - university, shops, the roads - I was jailed at the apartment along with my flat mates (And enjoyed it!! Really, Eva, I swear!). On Wednesday the main roads and the road out of Jerusalem were kept free, so my cousins tried to reach the hospital to visit their mom - only to get their car stuck at Shoresh Junction (a little before Jerusalem). Mishael, my young cousin, managed to hitch to the hospital and later took a taxi to a place near my house, where I waited to take him to me. My other cousin, Iris, had to wait to be toed. Anyway, at the morning of Thursday the snow stopped falling but the parking lot where my car was, had about 40 cm of iced snow that prevented any movement with the car. Since my Aunt passed the operation already and was supposed to be released from the hospital that morning, we had no other choice but to dig ourselves a way out to the main road from the parking lot. It took forever.

And that was only the beginning of the day…
It took 3 hours to finish all the procedures and release my aunt from the hospital. We started the trip to Ashdod, to get my aunt and cousin back home. However, there were serious traffic jams, in addition to heavy rain pouring, so we only arrived there around 15:00. I managed to grab food for Mishael and me at the local BurgerRanch (it’s like McDonald only much much much better). At 13:30 I took my mom (which was waiting in my aunt’s house since the morning), drive to Ashkelon and dropped her at work. I then had to hurry home and take my dad to his doctor, to renew some medicines. After buying the medicines it suddenly stroke me. It’s Thursday, almost 18:00, and on 20:00 I’m suppose to be in Tel Aviv for an IGDA Chapter Meeting!!

I decided to ask Eran, which has just recently joined me at coordinating the chapter, to hold the meeting without me. To my relief he agreed and I drove my dad back home much less stressed. I had about 40 minutes rest before I had to go pick up my mom from work and go shopping for food and stuff needed at home. I came back to my bed around 22:00 and crushed…

…only to remember suddenly that the FINAL episode of The Race is aired at 23:00.
I survived till it ended, though everything afterwards is just totally blank…
