Gali’s Wedding!

Today Gali is getting married and I have to change quickly and pick my mom from work, and drive all the way to Nezer-Sereni, where the wedding is. This cloth changing thing is annoying as I’m really ain’t the right guy for choosing formal clothing… In addition I don;t really know the distance I’m going to drive, which makes estimating the proper exit time harder. The ceremony (hupa) is at 20:30, I want to get ther by 20:00 or so. Damn. No time. I’ll update you when I’ll get back…

Getting ready…
Before shave - with beard!
Removed the beard...
Putting on a shirt
Should I wear a tie? Naaaa...
Shoes and.. Done!

Update:
Just got back from the wedding, which was REALLY nice. Gali looked really beautifull with the dressl, she was very excited and all… The ceremony was very nice (no preaching rabbi this time…) even though the cameramen blocked all the view for the guests… Well, at least they’ll have a good video!

Originally I felt a little uncomfortable coming with my mom, since I thought she would only know a few people. Turns out half of Gali’s mom colleagues were there, most of them know my mom, and I hardly found people I know! We ended up sitting in a table with a lady that turned out to be the daughter of my first nanny and they spent half the evening talking about how small I was. God. I found myself doing tours to see Gali and other people I knew all the time.

Yohi’s side (the groom) is originally curds, which is great for weddings cause they got really cool music and dances. There was a drum and a flute walking the couple to the Hu’pa which was very special. All in all it was a great wedding - Gali looked great and just couldn’t get that smile off her face, I really wish them all the best!

I’m going back to Jerusalem tomorrow early morning. It’s my last day before the exam in Mirco-Economy and it’s a really hard course. I got another exam on monday which means I’ll be burried in studies at least untill then. Wish me luck!
