A Peek into a Mind

10:38am, Morning. Day 3 in Barcelona.
We have 2 business meetings today but only later in the evening. Tomorrow is the conference. Lots of work to do and prepare. But boring details asaide.

We arrived on monday afternoon. Took a train from the airport to the city center and got out in Pla硠Catalonya (hey, they have different keyboards here, I can actually do 砱 ? and stuff!!). Took us a couple of minutes of orientation until we found where we wanted to go. We reached the Itaca Hostel next. Excellent hostel.

Originally I ordered a flat for us, but turn out theit flat is a big flat divided into tiny rooms with only a double bed and a cabinet. No way I was going to stay THERE. I wouldn?t even stay there if I was with a girlfriend, let alone with a friend and work partner.

So we went back to the hostel and changed to Dormetory. Best decision. We got to stay in the GREEN room. It?s a big room, 8 beds mixed (both boys and girls). We have 2 girls in the room. Israelis. Just my luck… Though they?re quite nice!

We also met a guy from down-under who complains about his parents forcing him to eat Gefilte-
fish, and a guy from Mexico who told us about kidnaps and robbers in his country. Was really funny. I?ll try to sum up few of his “tips for forgieners - Surviving Mexico City” :

1. Run
2. Say “Sorry!” all the time to everybody on everything.
3. Never turn your back to smaller guys then you if you insulted them. Attacking you in the back is considered fair if he?s smaller.
4. Never resist robbers. Be polite. Give them everything they want.

That?s what I remember currently. This guy was very funny though I?m not sure I?ll be heading to Mexico anytime soon…

Ho, and the reports that it can suddenly rain in the middle of the day is abolutly true. We were on this excellent touris bus ride yesterday where near the end it started pouring. But that was fun as well…

I would really be happy to come back to Spain for a trip sometime, when it won?t be mostly about business and work.

I?ll upload some of the pictures and movies I?ve took with a digital camera late today, so You?d all be able to share some of the sights with me.

Hopefully I’ll manage to grab some more pictures of beutifull girls by then!
