| Suicide bombing in my university… |
A suicide attack just took place in Har HaZofim campus (mout scoupus) - it is the main campus of the hebrew university and the place attacked is the kafiteria in the same bulding of the management offices. I was just about to head there to make a new student ID (lost mine) when I heard the news.
There are dead, serious wounded and all. Horrible sights. I’m off, I might be reporting more later.
Damn, it just happen now, no one knows exactly knows what happens, the radio says atleast 30 wounds and there are some dead - it’s still uncirtain since the whole thing is taking place RIGHT NOW, so no information. Still wounded in the attack place, geting medical care, many students are in shock.
God damn it. and I thought University is the safest place there is. Never even imagined there is a chance they will attack inside a uniersity - there are arab students also!!
Shit. Gotta call my mom, she’s probably hysteric.

Current news reports 6 dead and around 83 wounded, among them a group of foreign exchange students, a group of newcomers and visitors to the Bezalel Art school exhibit. 10 of the wounded are in critical condition (which means there’s a risk of dead count rising).
Turned out my mom forgot the cellphone at home when she left to work and that’s why she didn’t answer all my calls. On the way back, in the bus, she heard about the attack - which was a bomb, not a suicide bomber - and got hysteric. The bus driver went out of his route a little and brought her straight to the house, with the support of the other passengers, and after she couldn’t catch me on the phone (cellphones networks were so crowded they fell down) so she called Moonlight. Moonlight called me to the lab from her lab and asked me to call home since my mom is hysteric and I called her on the regular phone to calm her down. Lots of friends called so far, and I told them the attack was in the main campus, not in ours (the exact sciences faculty got it’s own campus on the other side of the city).
Update 1/8/2002, 10:00 (Israel time)
4 of the 7 dead are Americans, 1 French and 2 Israelis. Yesterday the news showed cheering palestinians gathering and dancing in the streets of Gaza. Palestinian Authority security forces stood aside and did nothing (except maybe smiling).

I’m sorry you and your fellow students are subjected to such evil attacks. Let’s hope Israel’s leaders have the wisdom and will to throw Palestinian terrorists the knockout punch they so richly deserve.
Maybe Israel government should do terrorist attack instead of sending soldier. Making themselves look rotten everywhere. Like a big bully. They sent the jews a bomb. Jews should just sent back to them loh. Let the get bomb without knowing what happen! Same feeling. Hahahahahah!!!!!

it is truly unreal that the palestinians say they want ‘peace,’ yet they are the ones provoking the deadly destruction. IF there is repayment, Jehovah will take care of these offenders in the future. blessed be the nation of Israel!!

it is a shame that terrorists do not value no life, not even theirs. They don’t see that suicide bombing does not solve anything, if anything they are making the problem worse. Taking your own life is the easy solution for the terrorist, "the fast way out". I think they are being selfish, and they have self-serving interest themselves. They are not thinking about their people.
