| Another Terror Attack |
Seems the quiet was temporary. The only reason the past 26 days went without any terror attacks is the strong curfew of all major palestinian cities ans few of the villages. In these 26 days around 15 suicide bombers were cought before they were able to leave into Israel. The PA, needless to say, supported some of them financially and didn’t bother to stop the others.
The most horrile story I heard from this attack is the one of the pregnent woman, that was hurt severly and the doctors had to remove the baby out. They worked hard all night to make them both live but the baby died this morning. The woman is still in serious condition.
I’ll quote some news sources:
“Seven people were killed and 20 wounded yesterday when a Palestinian terrorist cell, apparently dressed in IDF uniforms, ambushed a bus from Bnei Brak a few hundred meters from the entrance to the Haredi settlement of Immanuel, in the West Bank. The assailants managed to escape.
There was a lot of panic inside the bus,” said Issachar Soher, a Dan inspector. “Some were screaming in pain, others begging us to get them out. Some couldn’t be helped. It took almost three minutes to get inside the bus.” At least one woman died trying to protect her baby, while another baby was taken out of the bus in critical condition.”

“Claims of responsibility have been made by the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, an offshoot of Palestinian Authority President Yasser Arafat’s Fatah party; the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine; and Hamas, a Palestinian fundamentalist organization. All three groups have been designated as terrorist organizations by the U.S. State Department.”

I think there is no other way but to kick Arafat out of the PA. I would never have said that half a year ago, but it’s crystal clear now. Last week IDF had allowed some journalists to look and authenticate some of the formal documents cought in “Defensive Shield” operation. Seems the worst decision arafat made was to insist on any expense beyond $250 to be approved by himself, so his signature is on houndreds of documents proving the PA had financed weapon, explosives and celeries of terror organizations, including the names of several suicide bombers that commited some of the deadly attacks. And guess what - It’s been going like that since 1997 - the oslo agreement. I was shocked since this means Arafat NEVER intended to make peace with us.
Now I never liked the guy, but I though personal feeleing got nothing to do with this. I never liked Sharon either and still, he’s doing a great job so far.
I therefore see no other option now - Removal of Arafat and friends is mandatory and without any conditions. We should see how the younger leadership is, and negotiate with it. I don’t fear hard decisions, but I want a real peace. Still, if they want to play with fire, I can asure them the people in israel been extremly patient so far. Everything is moving more to the right here with every attack. I don’t like the hard measures Israel has to practice in the territories but we’re forced to do that and I personally support these actions.
I just wish the europeans will wake up and see they really support the Terror organizations. If they want to help the palestinian population (and they SHOULD, just like Israel should) they have to do it personally, and not through the PA. Saudi Arabia did just that - they handed money to people personally and refused to do this through the authority. Even in arab standards the curroption in the PA is huge.
I’ll finish here, I’ll go back to the library to keep study for my exams. But I’m fed up with the fact Israel has to live on it’s sword. I want to live in a sane, normal country where people don’t go and blow up inside a crowd or attack buses, killing babies and mothers. And I just can’t see this hapening with this paradise of terrorists located just next to us.
